Job summary

MG Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Park 12 in San Diego, CA. The candidate will perform diverse maintenance tasks across building systems, respond to service requests, and contribute to safety and upkeep of common areas.

The role requires 2+ years in property maintenance, proficiency with Yardi/PayScan, and HVAC knowledge (CPO preferred). A valid driver’s license is required, with benefits including bonuses and 401K eligibility.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in apartment maintenance or equivalent.
• Grace Hill/Yardi On-Line Training – Essential Skills for New Supervisor and Conflict Resolution for Supervisors.
• Knowledge of PayScan and Yardi maintenance systems.
• Valid driver’s license with proof of liability insurance.
• HVAC Certification (CPO) where required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks personally or supervise Technicians.
• Oversee work by Technicians and inspect results.
• Coordinate and respond to resident service requests within 24 hours.
• Support Maintenance Supervisor in scheduling and emergency coverage 24/7.
• Maintain safety programs and records for compliance.
