Job summary

Brookfield Properties seeks a Maintenance Supervisor in San Diego to lead a multi-unit residential maintenance team. You will oversee repairs, train staff, and ensure equipment operates reliably, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks.

Strong English communication skills and 3–4 years of relevant experience are required; HVAC/electrical licenses are preferred. On-site work, full benefits, and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of commercial or multi-unit property maintenance experience.
• High School diploma or GED required; HVAC and electrical licenses preferred.
• Must be able to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate maintenance staff activities.
• Train, coach, and provide performance feedback to team.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical equipment including HVAC systems.
• Perform or assign carpentry tasks such as door installation and repairs.
• Carry out electrical checks, lighting, wiring, and circuit work.
• Handle plumbing tasks and interface with contractors for bids.
