Job summary

MG Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Park 12 in San Diego, CA. The role focuses on multi-trade maintenance, groundskeeping, repairs, and responsive service to residents at a large 200-unit property.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in property maintenance, HVAC knowledge, and strong customer-service skills, with a valid driver’s license and a commitment to safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in property maintenance or equivalent.
• Grace Hill/Yardi On-Line Training – Essential Skills for New Supervisor and Conflict Resolution.
• Consistent successful use of Yardi Maintenance Systems including processing service requests via iPhone.
• Knowledge of PayScan per company policy.
• Able to maintain adequate inventory and schedule effectively.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance tasks personally or delegates to Technicians.
• Oversees and inspects work performed by Technicians.
• Manages system for handling resident service requests and responds within 24 hours when possible.
• Coordinates and directs maintenance staff and ensures 24/7 emergency coverage.
• Conducts regular safety meetings and maintains HAZCOM standards.
