Job summary

Par Pacific in Newcastle, Wyoming seeks a Sr. Maintenance Lead to safely guide complex refinery maintenance, lead projects, mentor staff, and coordinate contractors while remaining hands-on in the field.

You will drive safety, technical excellence, planning, and administrative rigor, ensuring compliance with OSHA and refinery standards while delivering high‑quality, on‑time maintenance in a 24‑hour environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of refinery or heavy industrial maintenance experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety leadership activities including daily safety meetings, JSA reviews, and PPE compliance.
• Provide technical direction and hands-on support for rotating equipment, pumps, piping, heat exchangers, and related systems.
• Coordinate maintenance planning, permits, tools, materials, and staffing with supervisors and planners.
• Maintain accurate SAP maintenance records, review work orders, and ensure proper documentation.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and supervision to maintenance staff and contractors as needed.
