Job summary

Par Pacific Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Maintenance Lead in a 24-hour refinery environment near Newcastle, WY. You will lead complex maintenance, mentor staff, and coordinate with supervisors to ensure safety, quality, and productivity in field and administrative tasks.

You will stay hands-on, guide preventive work, manage outages, and elevate safety concerns while delivering reliable maintenance outcomes in a fast-paced downstream setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of refinery or heavy industrial maintenance experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Specialized Certifications: e.g., Welding, Rigger, CDL Hazmat, Crane Operation.
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical systems, rotating equipment, and piping.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Safety Leadership: promote OSHA compliance, safety meetings, JSA reviews and PPE usage.
• Technical Leadership & Expert Oversight: serve as technical lead, provide coaching and field support, troubleshoot rotating equipment.
• Planning, Coordination & Teaching: coordinate daily/weekly maintenance, teach safe work practices, mentor juniors.
• Administrative & Computer Proficiency: maintain SAP records, update work orders, use MS Office tools for reporting.
• Supervisory Uplift Responsibilities: provide day-to-day leadership, coordinate staffing, and ensure safety and quality.
