Job summary
Resource Renew, the brand of Western Lake Superior Sanitary District, seeks a Full-Time Lead Maintenance Electrician to champion electrical, mechanical and instrumentation system optimization while mentoring a team of technicians.
You will provide hands-on technical expertise, solve complex problems, ensure safe practices, read electrical prints, and support reliable plant operations in Duluth, Minnesota. This role emphasizes safety, reliability and continuous improvement across operations.
Qualifications
- Completion of a post-secondary program in electrical maintenance, electrical engineering or related field.
- Five years' experience in wastewater treatment plant or similar industrial facility; OR
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Responsibilities
- Lead maintenance activities for electrical, mechanical and instrumentation systems.
- Mentor and supervise a team of technicians to ensure safe and reliable plant operations.
- Read and interpret electrical prints and specifications; troubleshoot and diagnose complex issues.
