Job summary

Mesabi Metallics Company LLC seeks a Supervisor – Electrical in Minnesota to oversee electrical maintenance activities, ensuring safe, reliable operation of plant systems. You will lead a team of electricians, plan maintenance, and troubleshoot issues, all while ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Electrician Journeyman's license and two years' related experience, or four years of electrical maintenance.
• Working knowledge of processing facility operations in the Mining industry.
• Demonstrated ability to read electrical prints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of the electrical maintenance team.
• Plan preventive and corrective electrical maintenance.
• Troubleshoot electrical system failures promptly.

Skills

Electrician Journeyman’s license

Electrical maintenance experience

Understanding of electrical prints

Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Strong communication skills

Knowledge of NFPA 70E and MSHA

Education

High School Graduate or GED

Completion of 2-year technical program or Bachelor's Degree
