Job summary

Redwood Materials Inc. is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to provide shift-level leadership for maintenance and repair of all electromechanical equipment in the facility.

You will work hands-on with technicians to ensure equipment runs safely and reliably to support production demands, while assisting the Maintenance Supervisor with daily coordination and administrative tasks. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a production/plant maintenance setting.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Proficient in maintenance diagnostics, troubleshooting and process improvement.
• Experience with safety protocols (OSHA, Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space) and compliant practices.
• Proficient with CMMS data entry and lookup; MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of electromechanical maintenance technicians.
• Schedule and assign tasks to team members, ensuring timely completion to standard.
• Provide technical guidance and coaching to maintenance staff.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans with planners.
• Audit inspections and address issues proactively.
• Oversee repair and replacement of electromechanical components.
• Diagnose complex electromechanical issues and implement solutions.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams on projects.
• Ensure emergency repairs minimize production disruptions and uphold safety.
