Job summary

Specialty Granules LLC is seeking an Electrical Supervisor to manage repair, alteration and preventative maintenance of the plant, collaborating with the Maintenance Planner to optimize schedules and resources. You will supervise industrial electricians to complete planned and unplanned maintenance efficiently, while ensuring safety and quality of work.

The role emphasizes leadership of the electrical team, coordination with production, adherence to safety policies, and driving reliability

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Electrical or Mechanical Engineering degree preferred or
• Technical school training/diploma or certification preferred.
• A minimum of 5+ years electrical experience in operations and maintenance of large industrial plants.
• Broad knowledge of electrical equipment and systems in a mining/manufacturing operation.
• Industrial Journeyman Electrician (Kremlin Only) required.
• Master Industrial Electrician (Kremlin Only) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electricians and work performed by contractors in daily maintenance and outages.
• Balance priorities and resources with Maintenance Planner to develop schedules.
• Ensure safety, quality of work, and productivity of electrical technicians.
• Provide technical guidance and on-the-spot expertise for electrical issues.
• Lead root-cause analysis to identify and correct underlying causes.
