Job summary

International Paper in Eaton, OH is seeking a Master Mechanic/Electrician 1 to maintain and repair plant equipment on a 12-hour rotating shift (7pm–7am). You will troubleshoot PLCs, motors, drives, and power transmissions, perform welding and fabrication as needed, and ensure work orders are completed accurately in our CMMS.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Experience in a corrugated facility strongly preferred.
• Proficient in PLC troubleshooting, motor controls, drives, welding, and PC literacy.
• Must pass maintenance test, drug screening, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot programmable controllers and drives; repairs to control systems.
• Maximize equipment utilization by maintaining machinery for capacity and speed.
• Follow up work orders and enter repairs into maintenance software.
• Plan and schedule maintenance activities.
• Comply with safety, housekeeping, and company policies.
