Job summary

International Paper is seeking an Industrial Mechatronics Maintenance Specialist for the Atglen, PA facility. The role covers night shift 11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.

and requires diagnosing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam systems to keep the packaging line running smoothly. You’ll execute preventive maintenance, repair and install system components, operate boilers safely, document maintenance activities, and work with vendors to ensure reliable repairs.

Qualifications

• The ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Accurate use of a wide range of measuring devices.
• Broad-based electrical, mechanical, and machine shop experience.
• Curiosity and a learning mindset; follow instructions and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance: lubricate, measure wear, adjust and reposition components, observe operations for abnormal noise or vibration.
• Respond to emergency and breakdown maintenance to minimize downtime and consult manuals as needed.
• Partner with vendors/subcontractors for reliable repairs.
• Use measurement/test equipment with precision and document work performed.
