Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Night Shift Maintenance Mechanic in Ohio to inspect, troubleshoot and repair plant equipment on a 2-2-3 rotating 12-hour shift (7p-7a). Starting pay is $32.00-$45.00/hr, with a $3.50/hr shift premium, plus benefits.

Role demands strong electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical troubleshooting, safety compliance, and meticulous documentation. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, with electrical certification and CPR.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Ability to diagnose and repair plastic injection molding equipment and controls.
• Ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics; PLC knowledge is a plus.
• Must maintain safety practices and lift 100 lb and carry 50 lb.
• Certified electrical worker status including CPR is required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, troubleshoot, and repair plant equipment.
• Diagnose AC/DC motor controls and replace belts, pulleys, cables, gears.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and document work performed.
• Operate forklift safely and follow lockout/tagout and electrical safety procedures.
• Communicate effectively with Maintenance Manager and plant personnel.
• Other duties as assigned.
