Job summary

International Paper in Bowling Green, KY seeks an experienced maintenance technician for a 12-hour night shift on a rotating schedule. You will inspect, troubleshoot, and repair corrugating and converting equipment, including PLCs and FANUC robots, ensuring continuous operation.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED and 1–3 years of industrial maintenance experience; familiarity with Allen Bradley/Siemens PLCs and 24V–480V systems is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years hands-on maintenance in manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with PLC systems (Allen Bradley and/or Siemens).
• Experience with industrial electrical systems (24V–480V).
• Familiarity with VFDs, sensors, servo motors, and motor controls.
• Experience supporting or troubleshooting FANUC robots.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on corrugating and converting equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, control systems, and robotics issues to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose equipment failures and apply structured problem-solving and root cause analysis.
• Accurately complete administrative documents and follow directions.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teammates to resolve equipment concerns.
• Follow safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and company standards.
