Job summary

International Paper is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery in a 24/7 production setting. Responsibilities include installing and servicing motors, PLCs, hydraulics, and automated systems while adhering to safety standards.

The role requires a technical degree, willingness to work varying shifts, and availability for overtime. You must pass background checks and bring your own tools; plus experience in corrugated packaging or printing is a plus.

Qualifications

7+ years' experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery in production environment.
Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
Ability to read electrical drawings and blueprints.
Knowledge of PLCs and motor control circuits.
Ability to work any shift, overtime and weekends as needed to support production schedules.
Authorized to work in the US.
Must have own tools.
Experience in the Corrugated Packaging or Printing Industry is a plus.
A Technical Degree in the Mechanical or Electrical Trades is a plus.
Must pass a background and drug screen; maintenance skills test prior to interviewing.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair and maintain equipment in a 24/7 production environment.
Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair machinery and mechanical equipment such as motors, pneumatic tools, production machines, hydraulic, electrical systems, PLCs, bearings, welding, and automated systems.
