Job summary

Smart IT Frame LLC in Plano, TX is seeking a Senior Mainframe Production Support SME to keep critical systems running and aligned with business goals. You will be the hands-on expert for production issues, batch processing, and application performance.

Responsibilities include analyzing production incidents, restoring batch abends, creating reports, and guiding release and deployment activities. A strong COBOL, JCL, and Easytrieve background with familiarity with VSAM/DB2/IMS is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of developing and supporting Mainframe-based applications.
• 10+ years with JCL batch processing.
• 10+ years analyzing COBOL and Easytrieve.
• Experience with VSAM, DB2, IMS and DBDC.
• 5+ years using CA7, NDMFTP and File Manager.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on SME support for Mainframe production issues.
• Address batch issues, analyze root cause and implement fixes.
• Support release, deployment, and production ticket triage.
• Produce adhoc data reports for Line of Business.
• Work after-hours on-call as needed.
