The State of Wisconsin's Division of Enterprise Technology seeks a Senior/Specialist in Mainframe and Network Monitoring to monitor data center operations, ensure system stability, and support z/OS-based environments in a 24x7 setting.

The role requires strong customer service, collaborative teamwork, and a willingness to adapt to evolving technologies and processes within statewide IT services.

Qualifications

• Education or training with networking hardware, TCP/IP, DNS, SSH, and standard network protocols.
• Experience with mainframe platform and the z/OS operating system.
• Experience with monitoring software and system tracking tools.
• Experience with network transport providers.

Responsibilities

• Data center after hours monitoring of systems and network devices.
• Troubleshoot incidents to ensure system availability.
• Provide strong customer service and teamwork.
