Job summary

Rocket Software in the United States seeks a Senior Enterprise Engagement Manager to own end-to-end delivery of mainframe modernization engagements, from assessment to handover, with high autonomy and accountability for scope, schedule, cost and quality.

You will mentor peers, contribute templates and best practices, and partner with customers, delivery teams and executives to drive repeatable, measurable project outcomes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience delivering technology projects, including vendor or consulting work.
• End-to-end ownership of engagements from initiation to closeout with accountability for scope, schedule and cost.
• Experience with software implementation or systems integration in production environments.
• Experience with Fixed Price and Time & Materials delivery models.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned engagements end to end, from assessment through closeout with autonomy.
• Develop and manage detailed schedules, forecasts and cost performance.
• Facilitate regular status meetings and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Mentor junior project managers and contribute to templates and best practices.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage risks, changes and dependencies.
