Job summary

Nityo Infotech seeks a Senior Mainframe Engineer/Technical Lead to translate business needs into robust mainframe stock plan services software on a Z/OS platform. You will lead an interactive team and drive architecture, development, testing, and crisis support within an Agile setting.

The role emphasizes expertise in COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, VSAM, MQ-Series, and SQL, with a focus on performance tuning and capacity planning.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field with 5+ years (or 3+ years with Master’s) in mainframe brokerage or stock plan services systems.
Experience as a technical lead in mainframe brokerage or stock plan services systems and application development.

Responsibilities

Lead an interactive team to implement scalable application solutions.
Perform as a mainframe engineer within an Agile team across requirements, development, and end-to-end testing.
Define, develop, and lead architectural decisions for complex mainframe applications.
Provide on-site and on-call support as needed and act as a subject matter expert in crisis situations.
Develop documentation and plan for multiple projects across platforms.
Meet project goals on-time and on-budget; communicate risks and mitigation strategies.
