Job summary

Qualifications

• 10+ years of extensive experience working in mainframe with Batch Jobs and Native Stored Procedure implementation in production.
• Technical proficiency to use IBM Data Studio.
• Hands on experience with Native (SQL) and Cobol Stored Procedures.
• Experience transforming legacy mainframe jobs using DataStage or Informatica distributed platforms.
• Ability to read and code JCLs, PROCs and COBOL programs.
• DB2 REST APIs and IBM Developer for zOS (IDZ).
• Native Stored Procedure, Cobol SPs, Dynamic SQL, Job scheduling, JCL, NDM Scripting & CICS.

Responsibilities

• Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.
• Designs, develops, and modifies architecture components, interfaces, and solution enablers.
• Mentors other software engineers and coaches CI/CD practices and automation tool stack.
• Executes story refinement and estimation for delivery lifecycle.
• Performs spike/proof of concept to mitigate risk or explore new ideas.
• Automates manual release activities.
• Designs, develops, and maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance).
