Job summary

Droisys is seeking a Sr Mainframe Developer to work on banking applications from our Jersey City or Wilmington locations. The role requires hands-on COBOL, JCL, VSAM, IMS, CICS and DB2 expertise with strong debugging and system integration skills.

You will design, code and maintain secure mainframe solutions, collaborate with product teams, and contribute to architecture and testing efforts while communicating effectively with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with COBOL, JCL, VSAM, IMS, and CICS with DB2 in mainframe environments.
• Mandatory CICS programming including screen programming.
• Experience with MQ Series and IMS DB is required.
• Hands-on coding development experience and ability to communicate with teams.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements solutions addressing complex business challenges to enable data-driven decisions and improve operational efficiency.
• Prepares architecture and design documents for banking applications.
• Develops secure, high-quality code that integrates with other subsystems.
