Job summary

New York Technology Partners is seeking a senior mainframe developer to design and implement banking applications. You will work on COBOL, JCL, VSAM, IMS, CICS (including Screen Programming), DB2 and MQ Series, ensuring secure, high-quality code and alignment with product requirements.

Responsibilities include preparing architecture and design documents, troubleshooting complex issues with Product Teams, and building and maintaining test regions.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience required.
CICS Screen Programming is mandatory.
MQ Series and IMS DB experience mandatory.

Responsibilities

Develops and implements solutions addressing complex banking challenges, improving data-driven decision making and operational efficiency.
Prepares architecture and design documents for complex banking applications.
Develops secure and high-quality code running with other sub-systems.
