Capgemini is seeking an experienced Mainframe Professional to join the onsite team in Chicago, IL, supporting critical enterprise applications on IBM Mainframe platforms. The role requires strong development, maintenance, and production support skills across core mainframe technologies.

You will analyze, design, develop, test, and deploy mainframe solutions, troubleshoot production issues, and coordinate with business stakeholders to clarify requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with IBM Mainframe technologies (z/OS, COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS).
• Experience with batch processing, job scheduling, and production support required.
• Familiarity with RCA, debugging, performance tuning, and agile software development practices.

Responsabilités

• Analyze, design, develop, test, and deploy Mainframe applications.
• Code and enhance COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS components.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Monitor batch jobs and scheduling activities.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders for requirements and clarifications.
• Conduct impact analysis for changes and coordinate testing.
• Prepare technical documentation and knowledge transfer artifacts.
• Ensure coding standards and operational procedures are followed.
