Job summary

Diversified Services Network, Inc. in Pontiac, IL is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer – Machining & Process Development to drive process improvements in a high-tolerance manufacturing environment.

The role reports to the Engineering Manager and involves collaboration with quality, operations, and design teams, plus hands-on process development and validation of new processes for fuel-system production.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field preferred and 8-10 years of relevant experience.
Experience in a manufacturing and machining environment.
CNC programming and process development experience.
Experience with hone, OD/ID grinding, and centerless grinding is desirable.

Responsibilities

Split between office and shop floor (about 30% office, 70% shop floor).
Test and validate process improvements; support PCN activity.
Work with operators to maintain processes and prepare reports and process review documents.
Support daily operations within the manufacturing process.
Collaborate with quality, operations, and design teams to validate new processes and improvements.
Support production processes and report to the Engineering Manager.
