Job summary

Anduril Industries, Inc. is seeking a Technical Project Manager to coordinate machine vision deployments across our manufacturing automation teams in Costa Mesa, CA.

You will define scoping, own delivery schedules, and partner with cross-functional teams to drive impact and continuous improvement on each tool and process. Ideal candidates have 3+ years managing hardware/manufacturing projects, strong written requirements, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years managing technical projects in hardware/manufacturing/automation environments.
• Proven delivery of projects on schedule with clear ownership of scope, schedule, and cost.
• Ability to translate ambiguous stakeholder needs into written requirements, acceptance criteria, and test plans.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration with engineers, operators, and leadership.
• Comfortable on an active factory floor with occasional off-shift support and travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Discovery and Scoping: quantify baseline costs and justify deployments with measurable ROI.
• Requirements and Technical Documentation: craft design documents, requirements, and test plans.
• Scope and Expectation Management: forecast scope creep and set expectations across product lines.
• Schedule and Delivery Ownership: manage multiple deployments, coordinating lead times and downtime.
• Cross Functional Engagement: coordinate with manufacturing, quality, controls, IT, facilities, and product lines.
• Deployment and Sustainment: drive installation, testing, training, and create maintenance playbooks.
• Scale the Function: develop repeatable processes and templates for future deployments.
