Job summary

Swagelok in Solon, OH is seeking a Level IV Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will operate and maintain fluid-system machinery, troubleshoot complex issues, and mentor junior operators in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment.

You will perform setups and changeovers, support process improvements, and ensure safety and productivity across shifts with a strong emphasis on precision and reliability.

Qualifications

• Five years of machining experience.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, control plans, and work instructions.
• Extensive tooling knowledge including inspection gauges, micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Mentor junior machinists and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Follow production system and participate in shift handoffs.
• Perform advanced machine setups, changeovers, and adjustments.
• Monitor outputs and adjust tooling to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues with tooling, fixturing, and programming.
• Inspect finished parts with precision measuring tools.
• Lead process improvements for quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Support new equipment, tooling, and production methods.
• Complete preventative maintenance and keep records.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and act as SME for equipment.
