Job summary

Swagelok in Solon, OH is hiring a Level II Machine Operator to produce fluid-system components in a clean, temperature-controlled facility. You'll learn on a variety of machines, work safely, and contribute to quality production while gaining hands-on experience.

This entry-level role offers training, overtime, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), tuition assistance, and an on-site health clinic. Third shift compensation includes overtime and 10% off-shift differential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic math skills, adding and subtracting fractions and decimals.
• Self-motivated with an ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow production start-up and shift handoff reports to set up the incoming/outgoing shifts.
• Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment according to standard work instructions.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools and verify against specs.
• Monitor outputs and identify quality or tooling issues, escalating as needed.
• Complete preventative maintenance and routine machine care.
• Document production activities accurately and maintain manufacturing records.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following all safety procedures.
