Job summary

Swagelok is seeking a Level III Machine Operator for the 3rd shift in our Solon, OH facility. You will produce fluid-system components, changeover machines, and follow SPS with a safety-first mindset.

The ideal candidate has 30+ months of machining experience or Swagelok Level II qualification, strong blueprint reading, and in-depth use of precision measuring tools. Join a clean, controlled environment with teamwork and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
At least 30 months of machining or manufacturing experience (or current Swagelok Level II qualification).
Experience with machine setup, blueprint reading, and basic programming.
Knowledge of tooling and metal cutting equipment.

Responsibilities

Follow Swagelok’s SPS and participate in shift start-up meetings.
Operate and changeover equipment per standard work and schedules.
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment.
Monitor machine outputs and adjust tooling and settings for quality and efficiency.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve machining issues independently.
Complete preventive maintenance and routine machine care.
Coordinate repairs or escalate equipment malfunctions as needed.
Document production activities and maintain records.
Suggest process improvements to enhance quality, safety, or efficiency.
Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety procedures.
Train and mentor less experienced operators.
