Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. is seeking a Senior Microsoft 365 Platform Engineer to lead the design, governance, and optimization of our global M365 ecosystem supporting thousands of users in a virtual environment.

Reporting to IT Collaboration leadership, you will govern Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and Power Platform, drive adoption of Copilot and Agentic AI, and ensure security, compliance, and operational excellence across the tenant.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience administering a single, large-scale Microsoft 365 tenant.
• Deep expertise across Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and Power Platform.
• Strong working knowledge of M365 security, compliance, and governance features, including Microsoft Purview.
• Proficiency in Copilot administration, agent management, Copilot Credits, and Pay-as-you-Go licensing.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall M365 platform architecture, establishing and evolving the governance model.
• Define and enforce standards for Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and Power Platform.
• Develop and maintain standards, process docs, and control frameworks for audit and compliance.
• Monitor roadmap updates, drive adoption decisions, and establish governance for new capabilities.
• Manage migrations, build dashboards, and provide escalation support as needed.
