Job summary

Sallie Mae is seeking a highly skilled Senior Microsoft 365 Cloud Engineer to join our Workplace Engineering team. This role focuses on architecture, implementation, administration, governance, and operation of the Microsoft 365 platform across Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Power Platform, Power BI, and Copilot.

You will partner with stakeholders and security teams to deliver AI-powered collaboration and secure adoption in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

5+ years with Microsoft 365 cloud techs including 3+ years hands-on with Exchange Online & SharePoint Online.
Experience administering Power Platform and solution development.
Experience creating Power BI reports and dashboards.
Experience deploying or supporting Microsoft365 Copilot.
Experience configuring EntraID, Conditional Access, and identity governance.
Strong PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
Experience implementing security, compliance, and governance in Microsoft365.
Knowledge of regulatory/compliance requirements in financial services.
Experience leading technical projects across teams.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and support enterprise Microsoft 365 services.
Administer Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Power Platform, Copilot.
Develop governance controls and platform roadmaps.
Provide Tier 3 support and escalation for complex issues.
Monitor service health, capacity, and performance.
