Job summary

Trane Technologies, a world leader in sustainable climate solutions, seeks a Senior Collaboration Platform Engineer to manage and optimize Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace across a global enterprise. You will ensure secure, reliable platforms and a seamless user experience across regions.

The role requires deep multi‑platform expertise, strong automation, and operational ownership. Work is predominantly onsite Monday–Thursday, with Fridays offering location flexibility to fit business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 8–12+ years enterprise IT experience with M365 and Google Workspace.
• Experience supporting coexisting platforms at enterprise scale.
• Strong knowledge of Exchange Online, Gmail, SharePoint, OneDrive, Google Drive.
• Experience with Entra ID and Google Identity.
• PowerShell and automation experience.
• Experience in global, multi-region environments.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, administer, and support Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environments across all regions.
• Manage core services including M365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Entra ID) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Meet, Admin Console).
• Monitor platform health, performance, and service reliability; proactively resolve issues.
• Serve as the senior escalation point for complex incidents and platform-related problems.
• Engineer and support user lifecycle processes (joiner, mover, leaver) across both platforms.
• Maintain identity synchronization and provisioning.
• Implement enterprise governance policies and compliance support.
• Support dual-platform operations and troubleshoot mail flow/interoperability.
• Maintain runbooks, documentation, and training.
