Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced M365/SharePoint Engineer to lead on-premises to SharePoint Online migrations and build modern intranets. You will shape information architecture, manage migration waves, and work with stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable solutions across Microsoft 365 and the Power Platform.

You will bring deep expertise in SharePoint Server/Online, Entra ID, Teams, OneDrive, and broader Microsoft 365 administration, guiding discovery, design, build, testing, and deployment with

Qualifications

• 3+ years of consulting experience delivering SharePoint solutions and/or migrations using Microsoft technologies.
• Hands-on experience with SharePoint Server (2013/2016/2019) and SharePoint Online administration and configuration.
• Experience with at least one major migration toolset (e.g., Microsoft Migration Manager, ShareGate, AvePoint, Quest, or similar).
• Experience implementing modern SharePoint Online intranets (IA, hubs, navigation, search, metadata, and permissions).
• Working knowledge of the Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate).
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; ability to lead workshops and present recommendations to technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Assess & plan migrations: run discovery/inventory, define migration scope and waves, estimate effort/complexity, and establish cutover and hypercare plans.
• Design the target intranet: define information architecture, hub/site strategy, navigation, search approach, metadata/content types, and permissions model.
• Execute migrations: configure and operate migration tooling, manage pilots, remediate issues, and drive successful cutovers.
• Modernize solutions: map legacy workflows/forms to Power Platform patterns where appropriate.
• Enable operations & governance: establish standards, provisioning/lifecycle controls, and operational reporting.
• Lead stakeholders: run workshops, produce client-ready deliverables, and communicate risks clearly to audiences.
