Job summary

EY seeks an experienced M365 SharePoint Engineer to lead on-premises to SharePoint Online migrations, design modern intranets, and modernize legacy patterns to Power Platform. You will shape information architecture and collaborate with client stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

You will guide discovery, design, build, test, migration and deployment, partnering with EY teams to provide solution blueprints and cross-workstream collaboration.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of consulting experience delivering SharePoint solutions and migrations.
• Hands-on experience with SharePoint Server and SharePoint Online administration.
• Experience with migration tools (Migration Manager, ShareGate, AvePoint, Quest).
• Experience designing modern SharePoint Online intranets (IA, hubs, navigation, search, metadata, and permissions).
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; ability to lead workshops and present to executives.

Responsibilities

• Assess & plan migrations: run discovery/inventory, define migration scope and waves, estimate effort/complexity, and establish cutover and hypercare plans.
• Design the target intranet: define information architecture, hub/site strategy, navigation, search approach, metadata/content types, and permissions model.
• Execute migrations: configure and operate Microsoft and third-party migration tooling, manage pilots, remediate issues, and drive successful cutovers.
• Modernize solutions: map legacy workflows/forms (e.g., SharePoint Designer/InfoPath/Nintex/K2) to Power Automate and Power Apps patterns where appropriate.
• Enable operations & governance: establish standards, provisioning/lifecycle controls, and operational reporting.
• Lead stakeholders: run workshops, produce client-ready deliverables, and communicate risks and decisions clearly.
