Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Senior M/E Engineer to oversee complex mechanical, electrical, and field construction activities. You will manage budgeting, estimating, scheduling, quality control, and commissioning for select projects while developing new business opportunities.

You will lead ME teams, review design options, coordinate bid scope, and mentor junior staff, ensuring safe, on‑time, and on‑budget project delivery across the M/E discipline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or related field required.
• Experience in construction ME systems preferred.
• Ability to develop budgets and estimates for ME scope.

Responsibilities

• Develop budgetary M/E estimates based on program and schematic design information using estimating tools.
• Review mechanical and electrical options, perform systems analysis, and provide value engineering input.
• Coordinate ME scopes of work during bid process and develop sequencing to meet schedules.
• Mentor less experienced coworkers and contribute to process improvements.
• Develop commissioning plans and ensure handover documentation is complete.
