Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks a Senior M/E Engineer to lead complex mechanical, electrical, and field construction activities on select projects. You will develop estimates, coordinate bid scopes, and contribute to commissioning with a focus on quality and safety.

You will mentor less experienced staff, review design documents, and drive value through effective systems analysis and scheduling. A strong background in M/E tools and BIM is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, architectural engineering or related field is required.
• 10+ years of construction management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills are essential.
• Proficiency in MS Office and industry tools; BIM experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete mechanical, electrical and field construction activities with increasing complexity.
• Develop budgetary M/E estimates from program data and schematics.
• Review options and perform systems analysis for value engineering.
• Coordinate M/E scopes during bidding; prepare sequencing and schedules.
• Review design docs for quality and compliance; ensure safe, quality work.
