Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks an experienced M/E Engineer 3 to perform progressively complex mechanical, electrical, and field construction activities. The role focuses on data collection, estimate development, and bid analysis to support project strategy and scheduling.

Responsibilities include learning safety plans, assisting with budgetary estimates, and participating in bid reviews. A Bachelor’s in engineering and 5+ years of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, architectural engineering or related field is required or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years construction and/or engineering experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand plans, drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop budgetary ME estimates from program and schematic design information.
• Assist in bid analysis and subcontractor selection processes.
• Coordinate ME scopes of work during the bid process and develop sequencing.
• Mentor less experienced coworkers and contribute to continuous process improvements.
