Job summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Senior M/E Engineer to lead mechanical, electrical and field construction activities across projects. You will develop budgets, estimates and bid analyses, coordinate scopes with subs, and drive sequencing to meet schedules while ensuring safety and quality compliance.

You will review design documents for constructability, perform inspections, and support commissioning with testing procedures and documentation, mentoring teammates along the way.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical/architectural engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years construction management experience preferred.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.
• Ability to develop budgets, estimates and bid analyses.
• Experience coordinating mechanical/electrical scopes and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Complete increasingly complex mechanical, electrical and field construction activities.
• Develop budgetary M/E estimates using program and schematic data.
• Review options, perform systems analysis and provide value engineering input.
• Coordinate mechanical and electrical scopes during bid process.
• Develop sequencing for systems to meet project schedules.
• Review design documents for quality issues and constructability.
• Perform site inspections to ensure quality and timeliness.
• Assist with shop drawings and submittals per contract documents.
• Assist commissioning with pre-functional checklists and testing procedures.
• Lead and mentor junior team members and collaborate with stakeholders.
