Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions Americas is seeking a Senior Manager, Mergers & Acquisitions to lead the end-to-end M&A process from evaluation to post-close integration. You will coordinate with internal teams and external advisors, develop financial models, analyze markets, manage the deal pipeline, and prepare executive-level materials.

This onsite role is based in New Haven, CT and requires strong communication across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Business or related field (MBA preferred).
• 7+ years of direct M&A transaction experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, transaction advisory, or a comparable M&A-focused role.
• Demonstrated experience independently managing multiple transaction processes from LOI through closing.
• Prior experience with industrial or manufacturing businesses, including production, supply chain, working capital, and capital investment.
• Expertise in financial modeling and business valuation techniques (including DCF).
• Deep knowledge of due diligence, transaction structuring, purchase agreement concepts, and closing processes.
• Ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present to executive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead transaction execution from LOI through closing, including process planning and diligence coordination.
• Manage cross-functional due diligence with finance, tax, legal, operations, IT, HR, and other teams; identify risks and keep timeline.
• Develop and review financial models, valuation analyses, synergy assessments, and scenario analyses.
• Collaborate with legal, financial, and tax advisors on transaction structure and terms.
• Evaluate acquisition opportunities for strategic fit and value creation."
• Prepare materials for executive leadership communicating investment rationale and risks.
• Support integration planning and Day 1 readiness, focusing on value creation and risk mitigation.
