Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Senior Manager - M&A Compliance to lead global controls and compliance initiatives across acquisition, merger, and divestiture activities. The role partners with Acquisition & Divestiture Accounting and integration teams, driving SOX readiness and ensuring acquired entities align with Eaton policies.

The position is based in Beachwood, OH or Moon Township, PA on a hybrid schedule with up to 25% travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting, finance policy or internal control standards.
Relocation assistance is not available. Only candidates located within a 50 mile radius of Beachwood OH or Moon Township PA will be considered.
Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.
CPA, CA or MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead global controls and compliance initiatives around acquisition, merger, and divestiture activities.
Serve as primary CCA partner to Acquisition & Divestiture Accounting and integration teams.
Support SOX readiness planning, control environment assessments, and integration planning.
Align acquired businesses with Eaton policies and procedures.
Mentor and guide 1-3 resources within CCA.
Engage with senior leadership to identify risks and implement corrective actions.
Partner with IT SOX organization teams on compliance alignment.
Provide updates on SOX readiness and control gaps to leadership.
