Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Senior Manager - M&A Compliance in the Corporate Sector. The role can be based in Beachwood, OH or Moon Twp, PA on a hybrid schedule with up to 25% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting, finance policy or internal control standards.
• Relocation assistance is not available; candidates must reside within 50 miles of Beachwood OH or Moon Township PA.
• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.
• CPA, CA or MBA is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Acquisition & Divestiture Accounting and integration teams as the primary CCA contact for acquisition, merger, and divestiture activities, including early deal-cycle engagement and SOX readiness planning.
• Lead the assessment of the acquired company’s control environment and support remediation and integration planning.
• Lead global process optimization projects to improve the SOX control environment for acquired businesses.
• Develop and execute action plans to align acquired businesses with Eaton policies and support timely SOX 404 readiness.
• Support the transition of acquired businesses into Eaton's accounting and control framework.
• Manage and mentor 1-3 resources and oversee related activities.
• Support strategic projects and transactions of the Controllership organization.
• Perform analyses for senior leadership to identify root causes and drive corrective actions.
• Build partnerships with senior leaders to be a trusted advisor within Controllership and Internal Audit.
• Oversee setup of controls for greenfield sites and site expansions, including SOX readiness.
