Job summary

West Monroe is seeking a Senior Consultant for the Merger & Carveout Services (MCS) team in the United States. You will work on diligence, separation planning, Day 1 readiness, and post-close execution to reduce risk and accelerate value realization.

You will partner with client stakeholders, develop actionable recommendations, and mentor junior staff while leveraging AI tools to enhance analyses and delivery.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of client-facing management consulting, technology consulting, or transaction advisory experience in private equity or corporate settings.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, integrations, carve-outs, divestitures, or technology transformation initiatives.
• Experience developing financial models, standalone cost analyses, synergy assessments, TSA analyses, or technology business cases.

Responsibilities

• Support buy-side and sell-side merger, integration, and carve-out engagements across industries.
• Develop standalone operating cost models, one-time separation cost estimates, and technology financial models.
• Lead technology workstreams and manage project plans, risks, budgets, and executive reporting.
