Job summary

West Monroe is seeking a Manager to lead the Merger & Carveout Services team and drive value across the transaction lifecycle. You will oversee engagements from diligence through Day 1 readiness, coordinating across IT, finance, HR, and operations, leveraging AI tools to accelerate analysis and deliver actionable guidance to clients.

You will mentor teams, develop methodologies, and contribute to business development within a dynamic consulting practice. Travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of management consulting, transaction advisory, technology consulting, or related experience.
• Experience managing client engagements or complex workstreams with scope, financials, teams, risks, and senior stakeholders.
• Experience across the M&A lifecycle including diligence, separation/integration planning, TSA analysis, and Day 1 readiness.

Responsibilities

• Lead buy-side and sell-side merger, integration, and carveout engagements for private equity and corporate clients.
• Manage all elements of engagements: scope, budgets, staffing, workstreams, deliverables, profitability, risks, quality, and reporting.
• Lead cross-functional diligence and planning across IT, Finance, HR, Procurement, Operations, and Sales & Marketing.
