Job summary

BCL Legal Limited is recruiting a Senior M&A Associate for a highly regarded corporate boutique in the United States. You will lead complex domestic and cross-border M&A deals in technology and life sciences, managing end-to-end transactions with minimal partner oversight.

You will advise on buy-side and sell-side strategies, draft and negotiate agreements, and coordinate multi-disciplinary deal teams while maintaining strong client relationships and driving towards partnership.

Qualifications

• 8–15 years of dedicated strategic M&A experience.
• Background at a top-tier Big Law, respected mid-sized, or boutique firm.

Responsibilities

• Lead M&A transactions from start to finish with minimal partner oversight.
• Manage due diligence processes and transaction execution.
• Draft and negotiate merger agreements, SPAs, APAs, LOIs, term sheets, and ancillary documents.
• Advise clients on strategic buy-side and sell-side transactions.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and opposing counsel.
• Coordinate deal teams, manage closing processes, and progress transactions efficiently.
• Support ECVC matters during quieter periods.
• Work on complex domestic and cross-border transactions in tech and life sciences.
