Job summary

Commodore Perry Estate is seeking a Senior Event Service Manager in Austin to lead luxury events with the operations team and maximize revenue through effective group booking management.

You will review and issue BEOs, upsell enhancements, collect deposits, and coordinate with multiple departments to ensure flawless guest experiences from start to finish. Prior Event Sales or Banquet experience in luxury hospitality is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of Event Sales or Event Services experience in hotel/banquet environments.
• Experience with luxury hospitality properties preferred.
• Knowledge of Delphi and Opera or similar systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel/Restaurant Management, or related major.

Responsibilities

• Serve as guest liaison between clients and hotel operations to execute events.
• Prepare and distribute BEOs and resumes for all group events.
• Present upgrade options, collect deposits, and obtain client signatures on BEOs.
• Coordinate group details with hotel departments to ensure flawless service.
• Convene pre- and post-convention meetings with guests and staff.
• Monitor room blocks and release unused space on cut-off dates.
• Oversee payments with finance and ensure accurate billing.
• Maintain booking activities in Delphi and PMS communications.
• Support Sales and Catering with site tours and catering sales.
• Ensure group reservations are correctly billed and blocked.
• Participate in BEO/Resume meetings and generate enthusiasm.
• Greet clients on arrival and liaise with Banquet Manager.
