Job summary

Commodore Perry Estate, Auberge Collection in Austin, TX, seeks a Senior Event Service Manager to act as guest liaison with hotel operations, executing events by detailing group and events sales bookings that maximize revenues and create up-sell opportunities.

You will coordinate BEOs, deposits, and client signatures while communicating group details across departments to ensure guest satisfaction from start to finish, in collaboration with senior hotel leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years of Event Sales experience or two years in hotel Event Services.
• Experience in luxury hospitality is a plus.
• Knowledge of Delphi or Opera systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the liaison between clients and Commodore Perry Estate delivering a luxury guest experience grounded in heartfelt service.
• Complete, review, and distribute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and resumes for all assigned groups including all group business and catering events as needed.
• Offer upgrade options to the guest, collect deposits and obtain signatures on the BEOs.
• Communicate group details and changes to all hotel departments to ensure a flawless client experience.
• Conduct pre- and post-convention meetings with guest and hotel staff to meet or exceed expectations and gather feedback.
• Monitor room blocks and event space to ensure contractual obligations are met and re-sale opportunities are identified.
• Communicate with guests regarding risk of attrition charges due to low pickup.
• Oversee and administer the payment process with finance for accurate invoicing.
• Maintain booking activities in Delphi and ensure clear communication across teams.
• Assist the Director of Sales and Director of Catering with sales duties including site tours and catering events.
• Build group masters, set up billing/routing, manage rooming lists in the PMS, and review group no-shows with the team.
• Participate in BEO and Resume meetings to generate excitement and clarify questions.
• Greet clients on arrival and coordinate with Banquet Managers to ensure smooth transitions.
• Foster strong relationships with operations teams.
• Any and all other duties as required.
