Blue Origin in Washington state seeks an experienced software engineer to develop and maintain the Lunar MK1 Vehicle Test Bed software infrastructure, ensuring correctness and performance of flight software, avionics, and ground support systems. You will collaborate across teams to design, deploy, and test the VTB infrastructure.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong deployment of distributed systems to cloud and physical compute.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins).
• Excellent attention to detail and ownership.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and development of the VTB SW infrastructure.
• Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and iteratively design and develop applications and systems.
• Support VTB integration of the avionics, flight software and ground software.
• Diagnose and fix software problems at multiple levels, including installation, deployment, configuration, server-side and client-side issues.
