Job summary

CITGO Petroleum Corporation seeks a Sr. Account Manager - Marketer to develop and grow lubricant marketer relationships within a designated region. Manage marketer portfolios, drive price strategy, and align with CITGO objectives for profitability and growth.

The role collaborates with marketing, technical services, and supply chain to enable success, with high autonomy and mentorship responsibilities. Candidates should reside near Phoenix, AZ or Denver, CO and travel as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required.
Minimum 8 years of related experience.
B2B sales or account-management experience.
Experience managing distributors/marketers or channel partners.
Strong business acumen for account strategies balancing growth and profitability.
Ability to lead joint business planning and translate objectives into actions.
Strong analytical, negotiation, presentation and communication skills.
Willingness to travel up to 60%.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strategic relationships with lubricant marketers and distributors.
Lead joint business planning to drive profitable growth and market share.
Monitor performance, forecast, and prepare management reports.
Provide field-level support for national/strategic accounts and credit teams.
