You will oversee dispatch, budgeting, and safety initiatives while collaborating with sales and operations to drive growth and efficiency. The role offers competitive compensation and direct reports, with the Director of Regional Operations as the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years’ experience in LTL Operations or comparable leadership role.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Effective organizational and multitasking skills.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills with ability to engage diverse personalities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical and decision-making abilities.
• Extensive knowledge of industry principles, procedures and best practices.

Responsabilités

• Plan, implement and oversee staff to ensure efficiency and compliance with procedures.
• Monitor and direct dispatching activities, including tracking and routing.
• Promote safety, ongoing education, and policy adherence among staff.
• Collaborate with leaders to establish and update goals and procedures.
• Build a culture focused on safety, productivity and low turnover.
• Coach team members for growth and effective operations.
• Ensure high service levels with on-time pickup and delivery, and minimal claims.
