Job summary

Guardian of the Heartland is seeking an experienced sales and account manager to drive long‑term care partnerships in Missouri. You will develop the annual sales plan, nurture relationships, and position our pharmacy services as the preferred provider for nursing home communities and assisted living facilities.

You will lead client engagement, resolve issues, and train client staff while coordinating with operations to maintain high service levels and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• 3+ years’ sales or account management in LTC, assisted living, skilled nursing, or geriatric facility; pharma/pharmacy preferred but not required.
• Pharmacy operations systems experience preferred/required.
• Strong ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the annual sales plan as outlined in the business plan.
• Nurture and develop relationships with new and existing clients in long-term care facilities.
• Ensure maximum customer adoption rates in all facilities serviced.
• Market local business as a preferred provider to residents and families.
• Maintain contracts and relationships through expert advisory support and issue resolution.
