Job summary

Guardian of the Heartland is seeking a field-based account manager in Springfield, MO to grow key client relationships and drive sales of long-term care pharmacy services. You will travel to facilities, present solutions, and collaborate with operations to ensure service excellence.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration with leadership, sales, and finance to achieve budgets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; bachelor's preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Nursing/healthcare background preferred.
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration preferred; PTCB.
• Experience in sales and/or account management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Call and visit current customers to enhance relationships.
• Market services to existing customers to increase penetration.
• Liaise with pharmacy operations to maintain service levels.
• Maintain relationships and act as expert for retention.
• Streamline startup of new facilities and staff training.
• Assist in data collection for new facility start-ups.
• Provide consulting on compliance.
• Deliver in-service training to customer staff.
• Support marketing efforts to potential customers.
• Engage in local association meetings for LTC facilities.
• Assist in pharmacy operations as needed (medical records/order entry).
• Other duties as assigned.
