Job summary

Amteck is hiring a Low Voltage Technician 3 in Lexington, KY. The role involves leading a small crew to install, repair, terminate, certify, and troubleshoot cabling for ITS, access control, CCTV, Wi‑Fi, and paging systems.

You will train others, ensure quality, and work with the Technologies team on site. Required is 4 years of verified low voltage experience, familiarity with BICSI/ANSI/NEC standards, and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• 4 years of verified experience with low voltage systems and cabling.
• Demonstrated experience with Infrastructure (ITS), Access Control/Security, Cameras (CCTV), and Paging systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and data closet enclosures.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams of 4–6 technicians to install, repair, terminate, certify and troubleshoot low voltage cabling and devices.
• Assist site supervisor and assume responsibilities as needed.
• Install and label cabling for ITS, access control, CCTV, cameras, Wi‑Fi, and paging systems.
• Maintain inventory and safety compliance on the jobsite.
